Hi there,

When responsive mode is active, the body tag gets the "respond" class name added to it. All the styles for responsive mode are located towards the bottom of the style.css file, under the "RESPONSIVE STUFF" title on line 694.

Hi Chris, thanks for the response. Where in the CSS can I take control of this behavior for the iPad? Are there any specific classes or ids that are being sent for responsive mode?

Hi there,

This is standard behavior.

When the browser window width goes below 770px, the theme goes into responsive mode. The layout is adjusted to provide the best viewing experience on smaller displays.

When you change the iPad to portrait mode, the browser window goes below 770px wide, so that's why the layout changes.

So positioning looks great on safari on the mac, but when looking at the site I am working on with the iPad in portrait mode, the type div is jumping up to the top of the screen. When I rotate the iPad to landscape mode it looks fine. Where in the CSS is the markup for iPad portrait mode?

I notice the navi changes as well. Thanks!
