In order to attach an audio file to a particular post/page, you need to upload it from the post/page edit screen. Uploading from the media page will not attach the content to anything, which is why it doesn't show up.

It does, but when I upload it to the media gallery (which is the same for the whole site isnt it, so I dont understand how it discerns which page it was uploaded to, but w/e) it doesnt show up there. For example, I uploaded that one track to two pages but it only shows up on the home, and not on those pages.

The music that displays is based on the audio files that have been uploaded/attached to the page you're currently viewing. Nocturnal does not have a "site wide audio" feature. The theme is setup to showcase audio for each post/page that you view.

To have the same music for the entire site, you will need to upload the same music to each post/page that you have created.

I´m trying to put a music playlist that shows up on all pages. I uploaded it to the media library. It shows up on the home page, but not on any of the others. On the gallery page, it shows all the demo songs that were included.

I don;t understand what to do to take down the demo songs and have my playlist show up across the site.
