Hi there,

Open up "style.css" and adjust the padding for a#logo on line 117. It's currently set to...

padding: 20px 20px 20px 0;

Try changing it to this...

padding: 10px 10px 10px 0;

Let me know if that works better.

If you look on my site, http://www.planet2buy.com/, you can see that the logo is quite tiny. The grey space below and above it is nearly the same in height as the logo itself, there has to be a way to decrease it.

I edited the logo already, but the border below the logo is still slightly too big.

@TarasTravel The height of the top area is largely based on the size of your logo. Editing that will make the menu smaller.

The issue is that your Site Tag line and Menu Items are too long. Before editing code, I would suggest either removing your tagline or shortening you menu items. Let me know if that's possible... Tagline is probably the easiest to remove.

Let me know... otherwise, I'll try and come up with some code adjustments for you.

Make note: I noticed when I click on the details, to close the details.. the transparent bar will shrink to an appropriate size. On another page like my 'about me' page, there is no details tab to close... therefore the transparent bar stays wide and over-powers my post. :( please help!

I think you could be right, I just dont want to compromise my logo size because then you cant see it. There must be a way in the .php files to adjust the length of the bar by changing the number. Hopefully I can fix the issue on Monday but thanks for your input.

I'm certainly no expert on this, but I was thinking maybe the LENGTH of your logo in relation to the menu items is causing the problem. The end of the logo is past the first menu item, so it causes the theme to shift to make room for them both. Just a guess.

'Transparent dark menu bar at top', overlaps blog post. Don't want to minimize my logo because then you can't read it. Is there a way to shrink the 'Transparent dark menu bar at top'
