Hi there,

I really appreciate the nice remarks :-)

If your PHP changes were the result of my assistance, you can review all your threads here: http://www.themolitor.com/forums/profile/netlur

1. Yes. The theme available on your downloads page on ThemeForest will always be the most recent version, which is built on previous versions of the theme.

2. No. All template files have been updated since 2012.

3. I'm not sure what you mean. If you've made PHP changes, there really isn't a way to expose those edits. My best suggestion is to review the threads you've created here on the forums (link above).

4. You shouldn't experience any problems. As mentioned, your customizations to the template files will not carry over, but all your WordPress-based content will still be there (i.e. posts, pages, categories, widgets, etc.).

After updating, be sure to review the options available on the Customize page as there may be some new features you need to customize.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

Dear Chris,

Fist of all, let me tell you The Daily press is awesome!!

I must confess I need to make an urgent update of the theme. I have not make any update since may 2012....the main reason I am afraid have problems and lose information or php code that I have inserted with your help because I am not programmer. I do not remember all the php changes I hava made with help.....

The questions are:
The last update of 3-12-2014 included the updates before that? I supose yes...
All the update form 2012 only affects to syle.css and responsive.css?
It would be possible to make a fiction update in order I can see the php changes I have made?
In my case (www.focuspiedra.com) what are you recomendations to avoid any problem with my update?

Thanks very much as always for your time and patient :-)

Marisa
