I don't recommend leaving the title blank. That's just not a good idea for a lot of reasons...

I understand. Thanks for your reply. What I am thinking of doing in that case, is start a new post and just leave the title as a space (hit spacebar) and then leave the content area blank and just add the photo I want as a featured image. Think that'll be okay as a workaround? The follow up to that would be, is there a way to remove the + bar on the top right so they can't see the empty recent posts?

Is there a way make it so that some pages have the excerpt and post title visible, but some do not?
