Hi there,

You need to adjust the opacity. Try adding something like the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

#dropmenu li a {opacity: .65;}

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Following on the thread, I really want to change the inactive menu choice color at http://www.1000threads.com to something brighter. Right now it's #888 which is hard to see on a mobile device if you're over 40...

I've played around with the body with something like this:

body {
height: auto;
width: auto;
font-family: helvetica-neue,helvetica,arial,sans-serif;
color: #8b8eb7;
background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% #151515;
}

But it doesn't seem to work. Ideas?

Julie

Hi there,

Changing fonts, in general, are tricky. Unless you want to change the font to one of the most commonly used fonts, you'll need to use a service like Google Custom Fonts.

Changing the color is much easier.

For the title, that can be achieved by uploading a logo image with the colors you want to use.

For menu items, you can assign unique class names on the menu page by clicking "screen options" in the upper-right corner and making sure the class box is check. Then you can edit individual items in the menu with custom class names. For example, if you add a class name "redLink", you can style it in the Custom CSS box on the customize page like this...

.redLink a {color: red;}

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi,

I'm new to this type of thing, but I was curious is there a way I can change the font and color of certain words for my title and main navigation menu bar on the home page?

Thanks,
Stephen
