Thanks for the directions, Chris. I was stuck at the fork in the road :-), but have just left an A+, Five Stars, and a hip, hip, hooray from this very satisfied customer for your outstanding Curator theme and high level of customer support.

I LOVE the Curator Theme and it would be my pleasure to give you 5-stars...if only if I could find where to do it. I've looked everywhere to no avail. Please point me in the right direction.

You bet! :-)

If you're enjoying the theme, please don't forget to rate it on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Positive ratings REALLY help me out and show potential buyers the value of my hard work.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for following up!

Regarding "Select categories for homepage timeline", this means that the categories you select will display on the home page timeline.

Regarding "Select category pages to use timeline", this means that when you're viewing an individual category page, the categories you select will display in a timeline instead of in a grid layout.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Good (Monday) morning Chris. Just following up to let you know that after spending considerable time "playing" with The Curator over the weekend I was finally able to get my media images/posts to appear in the timeline. The only thing I find confusing is I'm not sure of the difference between (under the customization tab) "Select categories for homepage timeline" and "Select category pages to use timeline." In my test I have images/posts that DO appear on the timeline, but are not included in either of those listings above. Thanks!

Thanks, Chris, for your reply. I've watched the video several times and think I did everything you recommended, but I'm still having the same issue. Starting with a "new" post, I added a description, category, tags, featured image, and modified the date. I added the image from the media area. I can see the post with custom content from "view posts", but the timeline on home page is just blank. I'd appreciate your suggestions.

I need step-by-step directions in how to add an image (with corresponding date) to the Curator timeline. I've successfully created a "post" with imbedded images, but the images are not visible on the timeline, only visible within the post. I'm assuming I can add only images to the timeline without having to include a post? Thanks in advance...I'm a newbie stuck at square one.
