Hi there,

With all full background methods, the image will be zoomed so that it fills both the top/bottom and left/right portions of the screen. The image you provided is extremely wide, so it's being zoomed so that the top/bottom portion of the screen is not empty. This is normal.

For images like this, I recommend adding black space/bars above and below the main image (making is square and not rectangle) so that it can display fully.

Hope that helps!

Best,

Christopher

To follow up,

I believe I have the Blog Page solved, it works the way I like so there is not a problem with this.

But I have a no so smart question perhaps you can point me in the right direction.

I have many images whereby the image looks like this http://www.pacianphoto.com/2015/07/ponte-vecchio/
and it should look like this http://www.pacianphoto.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Italy-8.jpg

How do I get this and other images to squeeze into the page properly

thanks..

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in my response, I was on holiday in France and in Italy.

To respond to your question....

I would like to create my site exactly like your demo site

http://themes.themolitor.com/photopharm/ will equal my home page ---pacianphoto.com
http://themes.themolitor.com/photopharm/portfolio/ will equal the below galleries

Gallery Page
Champ Cars Post with Gallery Photos
Bridges Post with Gallery Photos
Denmark Post with Gallery Photos
Sweden Post with Gallery Photos

if it requires a post then I can create a post if it requires a page then I can create a paage..

I also would like to have the thumbs i.e. http://themes.themolitor.com/photopharm/portfolio/#galleryBox

Also a Blog Page...

I'm am somewhat confused on the whole process.

thanks

Hi there,

When you say "X post with gallery photos", are you wanting the photos to display in the background like a standard gallery page?

Let me know.

Best,

Hi there,

Are you trying to have a gallery on the home page? If so, you need to assign a static page as the home page and have images uploaded to the page.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Again thank you for the wonderful support,

I looked for details regarding THUMBS.. I created 3 separate posts each with an feature image and each post with a custom background ( the custom background is actually a link to the feature image)

On the main home page, I am unable to see where users can select just the thumbs to see each image without navigating to the post page, can this be change or am I doing something wrong.

my website is http://www.pacianphoto.com
