I'll call the supernatural brothers :-)

Ok.. some test here showed too things:

1) the thumbnails script has problem to generate pics from small images (150x150)
2) and the same happen with big pictures.
3) i could generate pics with images around 300 x 250 size

I don't know if this happens only with me or not.

Cheers

All the images that are automatically re-sized are stored in the "cache" folder, located within the "scripts" directory of the theme files. You can try deleting all of those contents and the images from WordPress to completely wipe the system.

After that, if the images still appear, you have a voodoo curse on you ;-)

Hi Chris,

I cleaned all the browser cache and the pictures keep appearing. Are the pictures in some how recorded on the database? Or any kind of reference? I am tracking down the problem, but in some place a reference for the first pic is kept. My procedure is:
1) write a post with pic and publish it.
2) edit the post delete the pic and update it.
3) delete the cache directory.
4) edit the post again and include the new pic and update it.
5) clean the browser cache and reload the page.
6) the old pic still there and the cache directory with the old pic are created.

If you deleted the images from WordPress, then it's a browser caching issue. Be sure to delete the history and cache from your browser.

Hi,

Just a question. Even if I delete all the pics on cache and update my post with a new pic. When I reload the page, all old pics are back. I am trying to change a pic from a post, but still showing the old one.

Ps: this is in my server not in the hosting :-)

Best,
Daniel

The thumbnail script uses the first image uploaded to the post.

If you uploaded an image and decided it wasn’t the right one, or it was corrupted, be sure to delete it before or after you upload the next image.

Hi Chris!

When you do a post with a picture and later you decide to change the picture, it's doesn't change in the index, but if you click on link and go to the post, it's ok, you see the new picture. The problem it's only in the homepage, i think because in some how there is a cache, right?

How can i solve this?

Thanks!
