Hi there,

That is the secondary widget column. It's populated by widgets on the widgets page.

To remove it, navigate to "appearance" > "customize" and check the box to turn off the secondary sidebar.

I forgot to mention the all important question, though it's fairly well implied from the topic. How do I get rid of it?

I updated to the latest version of Daily Press and since then have had a third column in the middle of the page.
