any plans for a future 2 column template? also how do i remove the slider from the home page?

I believe I responded to this on ThemeForest, but you can control the full width option from the page template drop down. For more info, please check out the help file and/or the walk-through video.

One last question I promise. Is there a way to have the home page (the page with the slider bar) be either full width or 2 columns instead of the default 3 column design?

thats odd. it seemed to have imported most of it. the rest is just posts that fill up the 'sponsers' box at the bottom. You could make posts for that with featured images that are size: 178px × 144px

you can set which category of posts the sponsers box shows in the theme options in your admin

Helped a bit - but when I go to import the demo content- I get a list of "failed media imports"

yup. theres a drop down for Main Navigation Menu and Footer Menu. once you save those then it will look fine

So those don't get created when I upload the "demo content" - I should make the custom menus beforehand?

shinister7, you have to set up your custom menus first to make that look right

Everything was reinstalled - seems like most things are working - I just can't seem to make a new page and have it show up like in your example (home, options, about, news, etc) - also the donate now is missing.

The map background is controlled from the CSS in the "header.php" file...

Just change the image URL to the image you would like to use.

In the theme settings, you can change the category of the footer carousel. The category name will be displayed where it says "sponsors".

Is there a way to change "Sponsors" in the template files and if so where can I find that? By the way - this template is fantastic - amazing job!

There isn't a theme option for that. You would have to remove it from the template files (header.php and style.css).

Those are just the first steps. You need to create a menu, upload a logo, add widgets, add posts to the slider, add images, etc. etc.

Visit the theme options page (under "appearance") for more options.

i activated them theme, activated the plugin, imported the data, and now it looks like this. I'm not sure what i did wrong. is there something turned off on my server that i need to activate?
