Hi there,

Hmm, that must be it. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the Godaddy setup, so I'm not able to effectively troubleshoot the issue you're having. Have you tried contacting Godaddy support?

Best,

Chris

Hi there,

On the post edit screen, there are additional fields below the main content box. You'll find the "Slider Custom Link" option there.

To add an image, you need to upload and assign an image as the "Featured Image" for that post. On the right-hand side of the post edit screen is where you can click the "set featured image" link.

The text is based on the title and post content of the post.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi there,

The slider is populated using posts in the slider category you specify on the Customize page. You can use the "Slider Custom Link" on the post edit screen to point the URL to a specific page (instead of the post).

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Hi there,

I recently did an update to all my themes (including Politico) that replaces the OptionTree system with the WP Theme Customizer. What this means is that any references to OptionTree in walk-through videos no longer apply.

All themes options are now controlled form the customize page, under the appearance menu.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

I see from your Option Tree video that I will need the theme options data, I also see from the vid, that it is the PSD's folder on your machine. Today I bought and and installed the theme and option tree version you recommended, but I have no text file that is titled theme options data. I need to be able to edit the slider and at the moment all I can do is pic the type I want, if this is user error on my part I,m fine with that, if not what can I do?
