Thanks for the reply chris, got the site work just fine once I uploaded your dummy content, it was wierd but i could use my own newsroom as ablog, Had to rename yours.

but it works.

far as the home page: I just have to create a sticky and update the post date to be sooner than my last post. (my client wants to have a set landing page)

thanks again asweome template.

@kimm my suggestion is to build around chris's dummy.xml like a skeleton, then work from there.

I would appreciate knowing how you got your blog to work. My blog does not show text underneath, but only in the box to the right. Also the background image for the blog link isn't shown until I click more and it shows the full post.

Also my comment form is not showing an area for email, name and website. If anyone has insight, I would so appreciate it.

Regarding 1&2, make sure you have titles for all your widgets.

Regarding you most recent question, that isn't a supported feature by default, but there might be a plugin available.

shoot one more thing, how do we make a specific post ONLY show when people land on the site. I tried to use a sticky and it doesnt seem to work.

* Rather, show up on the home/landing page, as the first post always.

@maxink: I had that problem too. Make sure you didn't insert it into the post as well. That isn't necessary on this theme, you only have to set it as the featured image and it'll show up

OMG. my apologies not even a MINUTE after I posted this i found my problem, turns out that I had to choose "Show on checked" for the search button to fix ALL of the above, perhaps my problem and solution will help others with this issue. thanks again for the AWESOME site!

Like everyone else on here, I think your theme is TOPNOTCH. thanks for the great work.

However, im running into a few issues, my install doesnt seem to be working right (my guess is something to do with the style sheet)

http://www.housenightclub.com

here are my issues:
1. As you can see the sections are not aligned properly
2. my widgets are also not displaying properly.
3. my "Newsroom" tab (substitute for blog) shows 2 entries per page, for the newsroom category which i have assigned for newsupdates (blog style)
4. when I use a featured image which works for the mini slideshow, it creates a double image within the actual entry for the main slide show's category: http://housenightclub.com/site/?p=66

Any help on this would be wonderful. Im pretty sure (im hoping) that most or all of these issues stem from a simple CSS problem.

Thanks again,
Max
