Hi there,

This is normal. Tag and category pages use the WordPress excerpt function, which shows only a portion of the post text. This WordPress function strips all styling applied to the text that it displays. This is nice because it makes those listing pages easier to read if they don't have a bunch of formatted text that doesn't sync well together (visually).

That said, you can try this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advanced-excerpt/

I have created posts with bolded lines and such that don't display on the "tag" snippet page, but when I click "continue reading" all of the styles show up.

How do I get the styles on the tag page?
