Hi there,

That's not something that can just be "turned on" in the theme. That's something that would require a bit of research, testing and custom code to implement.

Best,

Chris

Hello, Chris:
OK, got it... So, specifically, does Navigator has the possibility of "ask" the location of an user? I mean in the way the Atlas Listings theme has it, for example: http://themeforest.net/item/atlas-directory-listings-premium-wordpress-theme/5736374. It states that "Atlas comes with geolocation support which allows you to show the location of the user on the map and search for listings around his area". If we have this possibility, that would be awesome cause we could use all the work and info we already have on Navigator, without having to use another new theme.
Thanks a lot!
Best,
Pablo.

Hi there,

They're using the term "App Theme" to describe that the theme isn't just a standard blog and that it actually does something more functional. They aren't making the claim that those themes are apps like phone apps, etc. From the site:

An App Theme can be many things and serve a number of purposes such as eCommerce, Social Communities, Magazines etc… But lately we have been seeing a rise in other types of applications designed to serve a specific purpose that you could otherwise not easily accomplish with a typical WordPress Theme.

Hope that makes sense.

Best,

Chris

Hello again, Chris, sorry for bothering you so much! ;)

We've seen that there's a mention of The Navigator on ThemeForest also as an App Theme, http://themeforest.net/collections/2924299-wordpress-app-themes, but looking into it I think it refers exactly to the same theme we already download. We're running our web also as an app and maybe it would be nice to use the same code, but we don't know if, for example, it would be possible to get advantage of some mobile featurings such as mobile localization (for example, centering the homepage map where you are, same as in Around Me). That would help us a lot.

Thanks!
Pablo.
