You need to log into your site via FTP or use your hosting providers cPanel to edit files like that.

Regarding the above CSS edit, yes, that will render the text invisible. You could also do this...

#theEnd {display: none;}

That will remove it from the visible markup.

I couldn't find the custom.js file under Appearances/Editor. The other way means turning "The End" white/invisiible, instead of removing it, right?

Another way that doesn't require changes to the files is using the following in your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

#theEnd {color:#fff;}

Open wpnovelist\scripts\custom.js and locate the following...

listingPost.after("<div class='post' id='theEnd'>The End</div>");

Remove "The End" and save custom.js. CTRL + F5 to clear the browser cache

looking to remove 'the end' text from site. I see there is a thread about this but it is over a year old and did not see to fit with this version.
