Hi there,

I visited the URL to inspect this issue, but I don't see the Novelist theme being used. Please let me know when you have it activated again and I'll be happy to check it out.

Thanks!

Yes, it's also happening on this particular post: http://alternatewords.com/blog/musings/focus. It's a bit tricky to make out but if you open the post, scroll all the way down then slowly back up again the text on the right hand column at the top begins flipping. Scrolling up and down afterwards makes it more obvious. It definitely seems to be something about the way Firefox handles line height, as you mentioned. And it's certainly not on every post, which makes it all the more difficult to figure out. I assume it has to do with the character count and how it then translates into two columns depending on current screen position.

Hi there,

The CSS above only affects the index listing, which is the only place where it appears to happen. Is it happening elsewhere?

Thanks!

Thanks so much for the reply. Editing the custom CSS as suggested fixed the index page. Any idea how the issue could be resolved within the post provided? Unfortunately, if I can't depend on correct render in Firefox at any given post I'd have to find another theme (which would both be a shame and a waste of money).

Hi there,

Must have to do with how FireFox renders line-height and the particular number of items you have. Try adding this to your custom CSS...

#tagList ul {margin-bottom:35px}

Regarding links, unfortunately that goes a bit beyond the level of support I'm able to provide here in the forums. If it was something I knew off the top of my head I would gladly help, but if it requires a bit of research and testing, then I have to refer you to the customization request form: http://themolitor.com/custom

Thanks!

Note: Verified that column shift also happens using Firefox on my wife's Mac. All is well in Chrome and Safari.

Hi,

Having an odd issue in Firefox (for a change all works well in IE): on some posts text keeps shifting at the end of the left column / top of the right column. Here are two examples: http://alternatewords.com/blog/index (very obvious when hovering over any entry) and http://alternatewords.com/blog/musings/focus (less obvious, need to scroll to the bottom, then slowly back up again; also, this post uses a page break). I suspected a plugin to be the culprit but after deactivating several the issue persists. I checked the forum but so far no mention so perhaps it's an issue with my Firefox but want to confirm.

On a second note, while I very much enjoy the theme (it's near perfect for my purpose) I found navigation a bit tricky as the URL does not track when browsing from page to page. As a result after reading a single post and clicking back in the browser one lands at the first page again rather than the page previously open. Is there a way to update the URL while flipping pages to properly go back in the browser?

Thanks so much.
