I haven't tested any plugins like that, but you could just use posts for this effect. Just create a "Bio" category and make a post for each profile. The category page will list each profile with a pic and excerpt which will click through to the profile page like you want.

I work for a small company and I have to incorporate a team bios page, which features a bio pic, excerpt view of their bio with the ability to click into the bio to read more (my bosses have looooong bios).

Could you recommend a plugin that would work with The Producer? There's quite a few "team bio" plugins out there both on ThemeForest and Wordpress plugins page. I am hesitant to purchase without knowing if it will work with your theme.
