The new menu system is a part of Wordpress 3.0 and independent of your theme. However, I can't really find anyone that can tell me how to make external links from the menu open in a new window.

I've found this: http://trevordavis.net/blog/use-jquery-to-open-all-external-links-in-a-new-window/ but I can't begin to figure out what to do with this information.

Anyone have an idea?
