Hi there,

Yes, you can definitely add it to your logo. You can also add it to the "welcome" message on the home page.

The site tagline is used inside the "title" HTML markup, which display in the browser chrome.

Hope that helps!

Best,

Christopher

Thanks. So if I have a tagline, it should be included in the logo image? What happens to the tagline that appears in the "site identity" area?

Hi there,

1. The tagline does not have designated location within the design of the theme.

2. Regarding sidebars, do you have widgets active on your Widgets page? Be sure to have your widgets moved to the designated areas for use with this theme.

3. Regarding logo/header images, the logo is the image you use for the name/emblem of your company or site. The header images are what display in the background at the top of the page. Looking at the demo site, the logo is "theKitchenTable" image in the top left corner and the header image is the tabletop of ingredients you see in the blue background.

4. Regarding post pages, yes. Simply add a category link to your menu.

Hope that helps!

Best,

Christopher

Hello, I imported The Kitchen table into an existing site & some things appear in the right places but I don't see the Tagline. Also I don't have sidebars. How do i get sidebars to appear? This may be a dumb question, but I don't understand the difference between a logo image & a header image. I think I know what the header image is because it appears in the "customization" area. Based on a previous forum question I looked in the "Functions.php" file & noted the height of the header image is 600 but no width specified. Finally, can I have two "post" pages - one with recipes & the other just a blog? How do I do that, if possible? Sorry about so many questions - you can take your time (a week:))to answer if necessary.
