Have you tried just posting an image placeholder in the video embed space? Try something like...

<img src="LINK-TO-YOUR-IMAGE" alt="" />

Is there a way to allow the theme to work the same if you do not have a video for a particular project? Some of my projects are "in development" and therefore do not have a trailer, etc. I would love to be able to have the formatting without needing a video on every post. I'm afraid I do not know code and do not want to mess with this gorgeous theme by messing it up. Any suggestions or guidance would be extremely helpful. Thanks, Chris. Thats how the theme works as default

if you want to modify it all the code is located in the single.php starting on line 51 and goes to line 184.

I have bought this theme last week. Now when i set up my website, i come to know that the various tabs below the post(Synopsis, Gallery, Credits, Comments) doesnt show up unless i put the some video link of the same post.

I have certain posts that doesnt have a video but has a photo gallery. Please revert ASAP as i have a deadline to meet.
