Hi Phil,

The blog feature of The Navigator is intended to be a secondary feature to the mapping system. As a result, the blog feature does not support sub categories.

The sub categories are reserved for the mapping system only, since it is more important for users to organize their locations (primary feature) over blog posts (secondary feature).

I hope this clears up any confusion you're experiencing with your blog.

I'm a bit stumped myself - I've tried multiple things... the Lat Long works fine when I enter real values. I'm going to send this over to Chris to take a look at.

There isnt anything different. If you would like I can send you the credentials and you can take a look.

It looks as if you've done something slightly different with the Category structure than you did a Sub-Menu such as "Engagement". Can you compare the two setups for me? If you match what you did in Engagement it should be fine...

Teamcassell.com. Click in Blog. It will show a background. If you click on Evelyn (the submenu) it shows a default map and it flashes over France. (that's where it defaults) All of the other menus will show either a map with proper lat long or a background image.

Make sense?

If you click on eveyln it just shows a map. There's where it defaults too. All the others have a background or a map.

It looks like your location is correct, you just don't have a large Custom Background image. Perhaps I'm just not understanding exactly what you mean.

Apologies for my misunderstanding, can you try and explain a bit further for me?

I did read the help files. I provided the link to show what's going on. I tried background image and i tried lat long ad still nothing. Another other suggestions?

"Custom Background Image

Below each post and page edit box is a section called “Custom Post Options”. This is where you will find the ability to customize the background."
