			<description><p>Ok, thanks Chris.  Is it that you have to make a "gallery" by uploading images specifically for pages and posts?<br />
That you can't make one from the Media Library from images previously uploaded?<br />
Do I have that right?

			<description><p>thats happening because youre inserting the image into the post so WordPress is cropping it, its not using the theme ratios(hence the crop) you need to remove the images from the post or change the default ratio for WordPress</p>

			<description><p>The images are stretched only when using the "i" tab and only when they have been inserted into the post at our size which is according to the ratio specified (1024x575 px).  They appear fine in the "thumbnail" tab.  It is only the "i" tab.</p>
<p>When images are inserted at the "med" size (the "large size is not active" they are not stretched.</p>
<p>I hope not to have to only included images at med size as it is for a photographer.</p>

<p>what exactly is the issue? the images are appearing fine for me, the images will be scaled mainly the background images as they get scaled depending on the browser window as long as there the proper ratio they wont be stretched</p>

			<description><p>Thumbnail images are stretched.  I've started from scratch with new database, new WP and reinstall of theme.  Only file in my child theme is css to remove the grid.  Could you say what is going wrong?</p>
