Fantastic. It worked for most of the mess, but my header in IE8 comes up for a second and then vanishes to the brown background. Any idea what's causing it?

I did some looking around and noticed that you have <li> tags in the sidebar that aren't nested within a <ul> tag.

I went back into the theme folder under WP Church Theme folder and replaced all the files with originals. Still have the same problem in IE8: http://www.GodCentered.info.

The only file I changed is the wp-config, and I only added the necessary information so that it would point to my server. The only other things I added were the category-images tool and the image-widget. Should I get rid of those tools?

Other than that I've stayed away from editing any files.

What might you recommend other than starting from scratch?

You've made some changes the the theme file. Not sure what you did exactly. That's why you need to retrace your steps and double-check your edits to the theme.

It's looks like your edits contain validation errors. Specifically "missing one of "ul", "ol", "menu", "dir" start-tag" type of issues.

You'll have to review your changes and make sure you didn't forget to open/close tags properly.

Hi there,

I have the WordPress Church theme at http://www.GodCentered.info. It works fine in Google Chrome and Firefox, but Internet Explorer 8 is a disaster. Any idea what's happening?
