@pegu

you have two sites on the same server using the same theme, 1 that is unmodified works properly and 1 that is modified isn't working, so we know its not your theme or your server, theres either something in the setup you've changed or you've modified the template and are causing issues.

double check that you have everything setup IDENTICALLY to your working copy

Its a plugin for a slider login. It was added to the site after the problem occurred as I am still testing a lot of stuff. I have deactivated it and you can clearly see that it does not help in any way.
I had answered this in the other post. Repeating it here. Still need help here guys!

In the image here -- http://postimage.org/image/501mvtpv7/ -- you can see I marked the part that is not part of this theme. I'm not sure if that is coming from a plugin or the service you're using to run the site, but that is likely the cause of the problem.

Let me know.

Thanks!

Hi there,

The last link you provided in this thread -- http://tinyurl.com/76x9hag, which doesn't have any of the extra stuff I mentioned before, appears to be loading just fine with infinite scroll working.

Resolved?

Thanks!

Hi Chris
Thanks for looking into this. I just activated another theme and even did live previews with other themes. I can see the other posts on the other themes. You can also try it and double check to be sure. I wonder why the issue is cropping up.

@pegu

So Im forwarding this to the Molitor, I took a quick look and it doesn't appear any of your plugins are causing the issue but it seems more WordPress is whats causing it, its actually not generating the second page so when the script trys to load it via ajax it returns a 404(not found error)

for example if you go to http://curasquare.com/page/2/ it should load the second "page" of posts

Im wondering if you can load another theme(default one) to see if it generates those pages so we can determine if this is a WordPress or theme issue quick

I also emailed Chris M with my findings so he can take a look as well(he doesn't have the admin details)

Hi,
I tried to fix it with more posts and it generally seems to work on this test site but not sure how effective it is. The major problem I am having is on the actual site for which I have sent you the details. I had deactivated the plugins when I had asked the question on another thread (http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/endless-scroll-not-working?replies=25) but got no response for more than 2 weeks. The plugins are back on but could you check what is the problem? I added more posts in that site but it still does not seem to fix the issue. It refuses to add more than the number of posts specified in the theme options, currently set at 8.
Thanks,
I have been waiting for an answer for quite some time now.

do you have enough posts when I try to go to the page manually its showing a 404 which means most likely WordPress is not generating the page shoot me your admin details

Hi, the infinite scroll does not seem to be working on any of my test sites. Even without any other plugin being installed. can you please see what the issue is? I have the latest wordpress installed- could that be a factor? http://tinyurl.com/bu58sgs

Hi Chris
Thanks for the response. Much appreciated. However that seems to get rid of the .masonry animation which moves the blocks about as you resize the page. That animation I like. It is the animation that makes the blocks fly in from the top left of the page as you scroll that I wanted to get rid of.
I understand if it isn't possible or maybe I am misunderstanding you.
Thanks
Rob

you can turn the animations off by opening up the scripts.js and setting it to false on line 210

"animate: true,"

to

Hi

Great theme. Thanks very much. I have one question. Is there a way to stop the items flying in from the top left of the page when they load? Would be perfect if they would simply fade-in where they end up instead. I am extremely rusty with jQuery so hoping it is something simple!

http://robmckenzie.ca

Hope you can help

Thanks in advance.
