Update:

I would still love to hear your views on how to use the Vidplanet Playlist without affecting the centering of the videos but I have kept at regenerating thumbnails till it appears they have all relented and fallen in line.

http://songofshambhala.com/video/category/sos-book-of-history/

I would like to ask two little tweaking questions:

1) How can I get rid of the dates on the posts.

2) And how can I replace "continue reading" with another phrase?

Phillip

Thanks for doing that Molitor... it looks great and all the pics are showing.

I do have two questions to ask to see if you might any insight.

I would love to use a gallery called Vidplanet (http://codecanyon.net/item/vidplanet-wordpress-video-sharing-plugin/2315285) , like you see here but it always starts at the bottom of the page and only centers when refreshed.

http://songofshambhala.com/video/2012/06/05/music-videos/

Of course it doesn't work when I simply embed the Youtube playlist but it doesn't look nearly as nice.

http://songofshambhala.com/video/2012/05/29/vision-quest-video-playlist/

Do you have any idea if there is anything I can tweak to resolve the conflict?

Also, now that the images are appearing, I had to upload larger images for the feature slider and discovered that they wouldn't resize when in display in a category. I thought it might be just the feature items but after awhile other newly embedded images refused to resize as thumbnails. I am going to keep trying to regenerate thumbnails and see if that will eventually remedy the situation but wondered if you might know of something else I can try.

Actually, I am not wanting to use any theme on a multi-site, I am wondering if it is possible to get a package deal on the additional three templates I am interested in purchasing. That's all. I am only building one site, that's plenty for me.

Great news on the progress, hopefully the site is ready to go when you are...

Hi there,

Unfortunately no. Regarding multi-site, use of themes from ThemeForest in a multi-site setting require an extended license.

Making progress on the update...

Thanks!

Molitor,

I also wanted to ask, and I apologize if this is not the appropriate place to ask I would be glad to submit this question to the appropriate forum, I could really utilize the Nocturnal, Curator (timeline) and Novelist as part of the multi-site I am creating for a new breed of storytelling that combines music, ebooks and an online community with social media content. I have already purchased the Navigator and HUD themes and wondered if there were any package pricing available. I have to ask, as this is a startup and I haven't received a paycheck for two years, every penny counts.

And no is a perfectly appropriate response,

thanks,

Until I have the update all worked out, you can do this in the meantime to prep your site...

Open "functions.php" and add the following after the first "
<?php
"...

//FEATURED IMAGE SUPPORT
add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails', array( 'post' ) );
set_post_thumbnail_size( 150, 125, TRUE);
add_image_size('gallery', 220, 160, TRUE);
add_image_size('slider', 780, 400, TRUE);

Visit each of your posts and assign the featured image you want to use in the lower right box.

If you already have images uploaded, you'll want to run the "Regenerate Thumbnails" plugin to update the images to the sizes added in step 1 above.

Hi Phillip,

I will see about updating this theme and removing TimThumb and making this theme work with the WordPress featured image feature instead.

I appreciate your patience trying to address this issue. I will clear my schedule and try and make this happen today...

After two weeks and trying everything I can find to to do, there are still no images displaying

http://songofshambhala.com/sourcebk/category/sos-music-videos/

And, as per your instructions, we have done everything on the hosting end required as you can see in my dialogue with siteground hosting:

Siteground. Here are their comments if you would like to see what they did to investigate the issue:

I have set the "cache" and "scripts" folder permissions to 777 as per above instructions.

Please check it again on on your end and tell us the results.

The GD library is included in our PHP installations. You can check the server's PHP settings at:

http://theawakeningmusic.com/i.php

I have also checked the path to your images and noticed that it is set incorrectly. For example your website tries to load the image from /new/library/files/2012/05/angels-in-pink.jpg folder and returns error: file not found.

I have searched manually for that image and noticed that the correct path is:

/new/wp-content/blogs.dir/7/files/2012/05/angels-in-pink.jpg

As you can see the image is loading correctly:

http://theawakeningmusic.com/new/wp-content/blogs.dir/7/files/2012/05/angels-in-pink.jpg

You should check the configuration of your template/script and make sure that the path to your images folder is:

/new/wp-content/blogs.dir/7/files/2012/05/

am afraid that I am not familiar with the plugin you are using and I do not know how to change the default path to the images. However, I found a workaround to fix the problem. I have linked incorrect folder new/library/files/2012/05/ to the correct one at /new/wp-content/blogs.dir/7/files/2012/05/ and now your images are loading as expected.

Please clear your browser's cache and check the results on your end.

2012-05-27 05:41pm by windofep -	hmmm, thanks for doing that, but for me, it doesn't look much better, now I don't have a site:

http://theawakeningmusic.com/new/library/

Are the images directories established when the subsites are set up? Someone on your staff did that for me and it has not been a problem before.

Ummm, not sure what to do now.
2012-05-27 05:44pm by windofep -	You see?
Here I have a portfolio site where the picture show just fine:

http://theawakeningmusic.com/new/artgal/

An d you can see the images are stored in that sites files:

http://theawakeningmusic.com/new/artgal/files/2012/05/6212524945_6777252693_b.jpg
2012-05-27 05:58pm by Dimitar.T -	I have restored the previous state and now the site at http://theawakeningmusic.com/new/library/ is working fine.

It seems that the problem is with the code used in the plugin that you are using. Please contact the plugin developers and ask them to provide you with the instructions on how to fix the path to the images.
