Thanks Justin. This setting was already put in place, so no, this wasn't the problem. However, I did find in the forums, for anyone else wondering, a sliver of php code <p><?php the_excerpt();?></p> place after <h2>"><?php the_title();?></h2> on the index.php file. This seemed to solve my problem. And I adjusted the metainfo style class to get comments/date under the text. Very disappointing I had to hack this on a purchased template to get it work.

Okay, I am not trying to anger you, but if they are not "sticky posts", then what are they? HOW DO I GET MY POSTS TO SHOW UP ON THE FRONT PAGE???? like the demo? All I am seeing is a title and date/comments, no copy.

Sorry, but I gave the "sticky posts" no category and that did not allow them to show up properly on the front page. I also tried having the home listings as "none". That had no effect either. All I want is to have my posts show up on the front page with title and brief intro or even whole post, if I have to, just like in the Aid theme demo. I read the link you referred me to, as above, several times, and I just don't get it. I think I am following what the Aid theme requires to look like the demo, and nothing is working. Give the posts you want to show up on the front page as a sticky a specific category and then refer to that category in the home listings option on the option tree, right? I really don't want to have to hard code the blogs in, as I do want the dynamic functionality provided by the theme. Could you look at my blog and maybe see if I inadvertently deleted something, like a call out to the post in the index file. http://www.refugetemple.tv. thanks so much!

I'm curious if you've tried disabling some of the Plugins you have installed to see if that's why it won't work. I see that a lot, but I do not want to try that on your site!

Hello,

It looks like sticky posts are not working for some reason. Any idea why that would be happening? cskmorocco.org
