The place you're getting the code *should* tell you where to put it, but typically they belong right above the ending body tag. For almost all WordPress themes, the closing body tag is accessible from the "footer.php" template file.

Hi, where do you suggest I put statcounter, analytics codes? In the html text on each page/post? There must be a better way?

I also need to put in a "conversion counter" piece of code on the "thank you for mailing" page....
