hmm well just look and its still trying to send you to the author page then redirecting you back to the home page, my guess is its still something with the permalinks or your htcaccess file, try setting the permalinks back to the default and see if it fixes its(just trying to debug the issue you can set it back after)

Ok I tried disabling all plugins still no luck any other ideas

Looks like its a common problem caused by some plugins http://johnnemec.com/web-developer/wordpress-archives-redirecting-to-home-page/ as Im not sure what plugins you have installed I cannot give you a 100% fix, my best bet would be to deactivate all plugins and reactive them one by one until you find the culprit

Hmmm this is what I have for a permalink structure /%postname%/ and if there was an issue with my permalink structure wouldn't the rest not work properly just wondering? This is the same structure I have had since day one haven't changed it or altered it. Any ideas on how to correct this

Hello,

It looks like its trying to go to the page and then being redirected to back to the home page. Im thinking it has to do with how you have the permalinks setup. If you look at the source the links are actually trying to take you to this page http://207rewind.com/author/d2077170/

Not sure why but for some reason my staff page doesn't seem to be working correctly or author names. If you click view all under a staff members postings on the staff page just brings you directly back to the home page instead of the page that lists all that authors posts. Also when you click on a authors name within a post it supposed to bring you to the authors lists of posts as well but it isn't working either.
