I have seen this question asked before, but no one had answered it. It is actually really simple.

1. Go to the Editor within WP (Appearance > Editor).
2. On the right choose to edit the Footer file (footer.php).
3. Scroll down until you see code like this:

//SLIDER STUFF
	jQuery(".carousel").dualSlider({
		auto:true,
		autoDelay: 20000,
		easingCarousel: "swing",
		easingDetails: "swing",
		durationCarousel: 1000,
		durationDetails: 500

4. Set the autoDealy to whatever miliseconds (1000 miliseconds = 1 second) you want.
5. Click "Update File".
6. Go to your index page and refresh.

If you want to speed up the time it takes a picture and the text to slide into position, you should reduce the durationCarousel (for the image) and durationDetails (for the text) values.

Can you please point me to the file and code snippet that I need to edit in order to speed up the speed of the Dual Slider?
