Everything should work with the latest WP.

Are you able to navigate to the Customize page (appearane > Cusotmize)? If so, be sure to configure the site as that is required for theme setup.

Sometimes not all data gets trasnported when you activate demo content. It sounds like some of the custom fields on the demo/import posts are populated with that text. You can either delete those import posts or remove the "junk" from those custom fields.

Also, be sure to review the settings available on the "Customize" page as that is required in order to complete theme setup.

Hi there!

I've just purchased 'Nocturnal' and have installed the directory containing style.css to the wp-themes location. Upon customization or activation, I am greeted with an incredibly broken and disjointed theme with a message displayed beside the header "Warning: Illegal string offset 'background' in <nocturnal/page.php> on line 8."

Even on a clean wordpress install this is the case. What should I do?

Hi, I'm having issues with getting the Producer theme to work once activated. I have manually uploaded via FTP the folder with the CSS file to the theme folder when activated it doesn't display properly. I have also uploaded the zipped WordPress theme, again once activated it doesn't work properly. Both instances display a black screen. Does this theme not work with WordPress 4.9.8?
Any ideas?

I'd like to have a different logo for the sidebar and footer that differs from the home page logo.

I'm trying to understand the php file for the sidebar logo but I can't get my head around it. How would I go about doing this?

First off, thanks for the great work and your continued attention through support. I'm loving the theme :)

I've recently installed the wordpress theme to Dreamhost, all is working as it should be apart from one thing. The blog post on the home page, where it appears on the bottom right above the social media icons on your demo, is being displayed on the left margin of the screen, inline with the logo. Now, I did delete the blog post as I didn't have any use for it at this moment in time so I'm thinking that might have caused something to trip up somewhere. I now have text displayed over my background image saying "nothing found" and I have no idea how to get rid of it.

Any help would be appreciated.

The HTML version of the theme does not work with WordPress. You need the WordPress version of the theme available here: http://themeforest.net/item/zoom-wordpress-photography-portfolio-blog/231324

Hi, I purchased the Zoom Premium HTML Portfolio + Blog but:

First: the template has not an installable wordpress file
Second: I tried to upload it via ftp following the first instruction you gave at the beginning of this forum but it doesn't work. It seems that the index.php file is missing. Wordpress says "Model missing. Themes must have a model file index.php" I translated from italian.
Then he writes something about child theme and the fact that child themes must have a name in the style sheet model style.css
How can I solve this issue?

I am having difficulty with the theme called "Vysual". I am running Wordpress version 4.5.1 locally using MAMP version 3.5 (if that matters).

I put the folder called "vysual_html_video" into wp-content > themes and I tried to activate "Vysual". Wordpress notified me of the following: "Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet."

I then deleted that folder and tried putting "vysual_html" into wp-content > themes and I tried to activate "Vysual" but I again got: "Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet."

Looking inside those folders I did not see an index.php file. What am I not doing correctly here?

It may have to do with upload restrictions set in place by your hosting provider. VYSUAL has some video content which makes the theme larger in file size than standard themes. Have your provider increase your max_execution_time, your max_input_time, and your memory_limit via the php.ini.

I can confirm there are no existing issues with any of my themes that would prevent them from being installed/activated. In addition to my own testing before I submit a theme, ThemeForest has a review process where this is the first thing they check.

To better answer your questions, please be sure to let me know which theme you're using.

Couple things...

1. No plugins are required for any of my themes.

2. A stylesheet exists in all my themes as a stylesheet is really what makes a theme a theme :-)

3. Uploading issues can be due to a number of things (i.e. user error, hosting restrictions, etc.). As a theme author, the best I can do is to post threads with instructions. If you want me to install/setup the theme for you, you can submit a request for services here: http://themolitor.com/custom

There's definitely an issue with the theme. I upload themes all day long. I deactivated all of the plugins, I'm downloading the correct folder. Trying to avoid doing this using FTP. Are there any plugins that need to be activated for this theme, maybe Woocommerce for example? Please help, have a deadline. Thanks!

I don't know what user bongore meant with installing the theme manually.

I'm not quite sure why you would have trouble installing the theme. I can confirm the theme would not be the cause of an installation error. Can you provide a screenshot of the graphical issues you see?
