Sorry you're having trouble. I can tell you it's not a theme issue, so changing templates shouldn't make a difference.

Yea I read that... didn't necessarily expect any answer b/c of that post, but maybe someone has a success to share. I'm pretty much in the position where I have to dump the template because it's not working. Shame.

I've tried numerous plug ins for slideshows - i.e. NextGen and when I add the code, to a post to generate the gallery/slideshow the short code is the only thing visible.

Is this a WP issue, a Plugin incompatibility issue or do you even know? We've lots of photos and will be uploading photos for our events and activities and we really would like to get a slide show plugin that works.
