Hi there,

The script that is used to display background images does not provide an option to properly adjust portrait images as the script is intended to fill the background with the image.

To address this, some users have added extra black space on the sides of the image in order to convert them to a 16:9 formatted image.

Hope that helps!

Best,

Christopher

Also, actually I don't have a slideshow on the mobile phone; when I choose (press) one thumbnail, it loads the image in the background (in the actual "slideshow"), but as the sidebar doesn't move left/right in the mobile view (it only scrolls), I can only press thumbnails, but I don't have a real slideshow.

Most of the photos I want to put in the slideshow are in PORTRAIT format and when I choose one image from the thumbnail view, the slideshow (in the background) resizes my photo on the width base, not on the height. When viewed on a portrait display (like an mobile phone) this is ok, because more or less the width of the image equals the width of the screen (both in portrait format), but when viewed on a laptop (landscape display), it cuts the top and the bottom of the image.
Is it possible to resize the image by height?
Thank you.
