With the way the gallery is setup, autoplay is not a supported feature.

To have the home menu appear by default, do not use the gallery page template.

Hi there,

You don't have to click the insert into page button. After uploading, that's it. Just close the pop-up window.

With the way the theme works, the gallery feature grabs images attached to the page you're viewing. In order for an image to be attached to the page, you need to upload it to that page (not the media page).

While this makes creating galleries MUCH easier in the long run of managing/creating your galleries, the downside is that you have to upload an image multiple times (to each gallery page) if you want it to show in multiple galleries.

Hi Chris, please help me and xplosiveconcepts with slideshow.

I'm sorry Chris, apparently I'm not getting it either ... when you click "Add Media", whether you choose a file to upload or from the Media Gallery regardless, you have to end up clicking Insert Into Page at the lower right (which very obviously inserts the selected media into the body of the page text).

So how does one just "upload" files to a page? I don't want to have redundant images because the images I want to use for my homepage slideshow have already been uploaded to the Media Gallery. I'm running Wordpress 3.5.1

Hi there,

1. For the page you want to use as the gallery, on the page edit screen click "add media" and just upload images there.

2. You need to manually add items to your menu on the "menus" page. If you don't see the pages you want to add on the left-hand side with the checkboxes, that means you haven't created/saved the pages as all published pages should appear there.

Hi there,

Setting the page as "Gallery" will turn it into a gallery/slideshow page. If you want to use the page on your home page, don't select the gallery page template option for that page.
