Make sure you're also selecting a "home listings" category in the theme options...

I'm seeing the slider on your home page. The slider category you select in the options panel is excluded from the home page list of posts.

Hi there!!

Can you please tell me how I can make the slider show up on the first page of my site? Currently the blog page is the first page that shows up (and it is the 4th page on the site). I'm very new to Wordpress so I don't really know the basics yet.
Second question, when populating pics to the slider, is it possible to do so without them showing up as an actual blog post and only in the slider? Here's the address: http://www.dodesignlab.com/SE
