Hey, Chris, Thanks so much for answering.

I just logged back in to say that I FINALLY figured out what I didn't know when I first started working on these web-sites--and, therefore, the slider--and to say that the slider is ok now.

It wasn't when I entered my first message, believe me.

@brians2 what browser/OS are you using, I just checked out and your slider is working perfectly fine

Hi, My problem is slightly different, but seems to fit in this string.

First, my test site is current with WP 3.4.1. Its link is: http://www.alec-destroys-democracy.org.

I'm only just now playing with actually linking to somewhere different from the actual Post page when the reader clicks on the picture in the slider, because I had sooooo much to learn at the beginning. DUH.

In any case, get to the point, right? I have truncated the text in the text box so that "[Continue]" fits within that box. On the post page, I have made it a link to a page where I want clicking on that word to link.

When I test from the post page, all is well. When I test from the slider, not only is there NOT an underline, as there seems to be in all these other sites I research, but also there is no response from clicking on the "[Continue]."

Among all the other things I've missed along the way, what have I missed THIS time? LOL.

Would the <!--more--> tag work in your theme or is there a way to truncate to see the Continue link?

the continue is there, the content is to long so its cutting it off a little

I added a forth picture to the slider and the ...Continue >> doesn't appear when truncating the text.
