<p>On the post edit page, there is a field to customize the link for the slider. Just use a pound symbol (#) to deactivate the link. </p>

<p>I love your Politico theme! :) I have a question for you about the slider. </p>
<p>I'm wondering if I could simply use the slider to showcase a slideshow of images without actually linking the photos to a post. Alternatively, if the images must be linked to a post, is there a way to make it so that you cannot click on the images in the slider? Right now, each of my slider images are featured images in a "slider" category of posts so they don't appear on my homepage; this is good, but upon clicking the images in the slider, the user is redirected to a page with an empty post.</p>
<p>I hope this makes sense, and apologies if you've already answered this question.</p>
