Hi there,

That appears to be a plugin-related issue as your site loads just fine when I click the URL, but doesn't work when I click the plugin feature.

Unfortunately I'm not able to support issues caused by plugins because I lack the necessary resources to research the inner workings of the plugin to find the cause of the problem.

Hope you understand.

Best,

I guess a lot of us work with wordpress because we're not "coders". We see a theme, upload it, and expect it to work as we saw the demo. I'm sure you get this all the time. I just don't know how my setup of wordpress is any different and would cause it not to work. I get a domain through hostgator, load wordpress, load the theme, should work. But doesn't. Haven't a clue at this point.

@jcgr I understand that it looks like a theme issue, but the truth is there are many factors that may be involved beyond the theme, plugins, code edits, etc. I'll continue to look into this, but please understand there are no code errors within the theme that I can see.

@stellamotion That isn't a theme-related error message. That has to do with either your WordPress installation configuration or your server/hosting configuration. Nothing in the theme would be able to prevent you from uploading content to your database from your WordPress dashboard.

Regarding refunds, you're more than welcome to request refunds to ThemeForest, but please keep in mind refunds are only issued for errors with the theme. So far, the issues you have presented appear to be related to your hosting environments/setups and not anything to do with the actual theme.

I'm here to help, but please understand that if issues aren't related to the theme, it makes it very difficult for me to troubleshoot issues that I'm not able to recreate on my end.

Best,

Chris

I am also having a lot of problems, the templates are not showing and the whole site does not behave properly. I am also wondering about a refund for this as it is not customer friendly to say the least and hardly anything work. For example if I try to upload media (mainly photos), I get this message: 'Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2013/09. Is its parent directory writable by the server?'

Changed the permalinks as you suggested. Still just a spinning wheel. I uploaded and configured per the instructions and videos, and it's not working. I have not edited any files and have no other plugins, and it's not working. To me, that means that this theme is not working. It either needs to work, or I'd kindly like a refund. Thanks.

Hi there,

The theme works. As you mentioned, it works fine on htn.org. All it takes is a minor issue somewhere to cause a problem. I'm not seeing anything theme-related causing the problem, which makes it difficult to pinpoint the issue.

One possible thing to try is turn your "pretty permalinks" on. Navigate to your permalinks settings page and select something like "month and name". Let me know if that has any impact.

Best,

Chris

Yes, just checked, they all have a featured image assigned. I checked the footer. I don't want any widgets in it, is that a problem? Everything else in the footer seems to be in order.

Hi there,

It looks like something is keeping the scripts from running/completing.

Your footer area isn't loading/showing and I noticed your carousel looks wonky as well. Just to make sure all bases are covered...

1. Make sure ALL your posts that appear in the slider AND in the carousel have a featured image assigned.
2. Make sure you have your footer configured and widgets assigned.

Let me know if that helps at all.

Best,

Hi there,

1. Do you have any additional plugins installed? If so, deactivate those to see if the issue persists.

2. Have you made any edits to the template files? If so, temporarily undo those edits to see if that is the cause.

Let me know.

The slider is just showing a spinning wheel. Here's the url: http://paracleteprojects.com I just downloaded the theme, so it should be the updated version. I followed the youtube instructions exactly, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Thanks for any help.
