I am sorry to have disturbed you. I have found the source of the error, I had set up a post to appear in the slider, but I had not supplied the featured image. When I removed the post the slider worked again.

Hello

The home page slider no longer works. It used to work just fine until earlier this month, sept 2015.

I cannot find the reason. From what I see in other posts here, this can be fixed by resetting the length of time between slides - set it to 0000, then back to what you want - or by doing similar to the alert message;s number of days to hide alert. Neither of these worked for me.
My site is saembassydakar.org.
