Solved!

Looks like the "Number of days message stays hidden" needed to be reset. I just removed the default "1" setting, let the page refresh, then I added back the "1" and saved the settings.

Should be good to go now ;-)

reply from my hosting company: "There is nothing unique about the wordpress we use the standard installer."

Not with godaddy, with a company called CloudNext in the UK. Am waiting on their support to answer my question about scripts but in the meantime have checked files in the root of public_html folder for anything out of the ordinary and seems to be fine. Anywhere else I could check?

Yeah, you definitely have a script conflict somewhere. Out of curiosity, is godaddy your hosting provider?

In any case, you may want to ask your hosting provider if they added any additional scripts to your site.

Have enabled Footer carousel, I can see some small static images in the footer (no sliding) and still says Loading.. on the main slider

Hi Chris, Many thanks for the reply. I have disabled all plugins but still says 'Loading..'
I noticed a custom field on each post that said 'sharing_disabled', which must have been a leftover from one of the plugins but deleting it did not solve anything.

I restored this site from an old backup so I'm wondering if thats the issue?

Hi there,

Looking at your markup, you have a lot of extra scripts showing up that aren't part of the theme. This is likely the cause of the problem.

I recommend disabling all your plugins to see if that has any impact.

Hi,
I have updated my site http://www.vivaavida.org with the latest AID theme 2.0.1 but the homw Slider just says 'Loading...' constantly. I have checked the advice in this recent post: http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/slider-images-do-not-display#post-31894 but I couldn't get it to work. I have images set to right size, posts set correctly I believe, not sure what is going on.

Any help much appreciated.
