Hi there,

Your site appears to have a script conflict, which is preventing all the sliders and interactions to run.

Be sure to review all your settings on the Customize page. I'm not sure what godaddy does (they are a horrible hosting provider BTW), so it's hard to say what the issue is.

Since this issue is not related to this thread, if you continue to need help, please post a new thread.

Best,

Chris

I, too, am having problems with the sliders on my home page. I compared the source from the demo site to my site and it seems that the scripts may not be loading for the sliders. (just guessing)

My site is hosted by godaddy.com using their wordpress hosting function that installed a godaddy.com plug in. Just in case that was causing the problem I deactivated that plug in.

I have deleted and recreated the entire site (not much content yet, so not a problem) but cannot get it to work.

Any suggestions? My site is: http://f9f.229.myftpupload.com (it's a temporary site until it's moved over to my final domain.)

Thanks.

Thanks Chris for your help. I was able to restore the slider image I wanted so that it now displays in the slider. It seems I have two slider posts with the same name. Once I deleted both posts, the slider began displaying the images.

Hi there,

I see the following error message in your source code...

Warning: Illegal string offset 'custom_link' in /home/blackmen/public_html/wp-content/themes/wpaid/include/post-options.php on line 29

This indicates that one (or more) of your slider posts have improper data in the custom link field on the post edit screen. If those fields are actually empty, one thing to try is to add a fake link (like http://google.com ) just to make sure that isn't the cause of the issue.

Let me know the outcome.

Best,

Chris

Unfortunately, that did not work. Is there something else I can try? Also, in the text view of the slider posts, the html code indicates a smaller size than the original image uploaded. While the uploaded image is 930 pixels wide by 320 pixels in height, the html code shows 300 pixels wide by 103 pixels in height and size-medium. Does the resizing suppose to happen automatically when the uploaded image is added to the post from the media library? I only ask to see if that could be causing the image to not load and display in the slider.

Hi there,

Make sure there's nothing odd in the custom post options for your post(s). Sometimes error notices can pop-up in there if you have debug mode turned on via your hosting provider. You just need to make sure it's empty and update the post(s).

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Need help in fixing this problem. The space and background color for the slider display on the Home Page with a message indicating the slider images are loading, however the images never appear. I have confirmed the existence of the slider images and corresponding posts. However, in the WordPress Administrative page for the site, the slider images also do not appear in the window for Appearance/Theme.
