Thanks for deactivating the plugins. You're right. It didn't change the extra markup I see.

It's also adding a "sizes" attribute, which is not something the theme does.

Unfortunately I have no idea where these are coming from. I checked on two separate installations I have of this theme, and neither one is adding a srcset or sizes attribute.

This means this is a unique issue relating to your specific setup. Being that this doesn't originate from any of my code, I unfortunately am unable to troubleshoot this further as there is nothing on the theme-side I can think of to address this issue you're having.

Being unfamiliar with this, my best advice is to contact your hosting provider to see if they have any idea why these extra attributes are being added to your site elements.

I've deactivated all of the plugins so you can take a look, although there is still the issue. I don't know where the "srcset" is coming from?

I noticed a "srcset" attribute with the image url that won't go away. I think this is the issue. The srcset attribute is not a theme feature, which means it's being added there by a plugin. Likely an SEO-related plugin.

Let me know when you have the plugins deactivated and I'll take another look.

The slider image is not changing with the selected post? The only image that displays is the most recent post for all "featured" slider posts. The post text changes, just not the featured image?
