Hi there,

Image sizes also need to be adjusted in the function.php file. On line 72 you'll see the following...

add_image_size( 'slider',900 ,350, true );

You'll need to adjust those dimensions to your liking and then use a plugin called "Regenerate Thumbnails" to render all your installed images to the new dimensions you specified.

I'd like to do the same thing, so that the slider is always a 16:9 ratio. I did something nearly identical to the malcolgado, above.
And I didn't seen any changes.

There is also this section to consider...

hi, i want to change the height of the slider in home page (900px x 350px by default).
i modify the style.css like this:
/*--SLIDER STUFF---*/
#slider {
margin-bottom: 70px;
width: 100%;
height: 450px;
position: relative;
background-image: url(images/ajax-loader.gif);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-position: center;
}
.slides {max-height: 450px;}

and y change the size of the pictures to 900x450 but the imgs still 900x350.
Any ideas? tnx
