Understood. The carousel does loop. Without customizing that code further you cannot get it to stop. For customizations, please fill out this form: http://themolitor.com/custom.

I only changed the auto: 7000 to allow the carousel to auto revolve. This problem existed with installed version when clicking the arrows left or right as well.

Hi, it sounds like you made a customization to the carousel code, is that correct?

How do to stop the sponsor carousel from not looping? I have adjusted the timing so carousel auto advances but I do not know why it runs out of images and just goes blank. I have 15 images that work and then just blank as if it looses track to go back to the beginning.

Featured images are required for the slider and carousel posts, yes, but not for normal blog/posting related content.

It took me a WHILE but I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I must have deleted and re-uploaded those images 15 times, but I got it now. For others who may run into this, here was my difficulty:

When I created a post, I would click on "Set Featured Image" in the bottom right hand corner, upload my image, set all the text options and then click the button that says "Insert into Post" (which is the only option that is a BUTTON, not a LINK, hence my automatic clicking), when what I needed to be clicking on was the link: "Use as featured image"

Sigh. Thanks for the help and good luck to anyone who has similar automaton reactions.

Molitor,
I am not sure why you are getting that error as the site works for me on various separate computers, it is just the slider that doesn't work. I just can't get it working! My hosting should be fine, it is just the images! If you could check it out again, it really should work. http://www.youthstickingtogether.com

Your help would really be appreciated!
Thanks,
Monique Nelson

Apologies for not seeing this post...

I'm seeing this error message when trying to load your site: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in D:\Hosting\8464703\html\wp-includes\class-wp-error.php on line 21

Judging from the issues you're reporting and this error alert, it sounds like you might have a hosting-related issue. I recommend contacting your hosting provider to see if they can troubleshoot this issue.

Let me know if that helps.

I'm rather frustrated as I've tried everything that has been mentioned so far in the forums (at least I think I have) and I CANNOT get any images to show up.

I know this issue has been brought up a few times, and I have tried all the fixes so far, but to no avail. Sigh.

I have created Categories for "Slider" and "Sponsors" and created a few posts each with featured images, as you instructed. I am still getting the spinner and no images.

http://www.youthstickingtogether.com
