The slider flickering at the end is gone. I changed the time from 3 sec to 4 sec, but I also changed the transparency a little bit and removed unneeded media files that came with the theme.
I no longer notice a flicker at the end of the slides.

Hi there,

I'm not seeing any issues. I did notice that you have your slideshow set to 3 seconds (i.e. "3000"), which is not very much time for visitors to absorb the images you're displaying. Maybe try a larger value to see if that addresses the flickering your experiencing.

If that doesn't help, please provide details about the browser/OS you're using when this issue occurs.

I am having a hard time locating the cause of a flicker in the slider images. It happens randomly it seems. Do you know what could be causing this issue?
