You bet! :-)

If you haven't already, PLEASE don't forget to rate the theme on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Positive ratings REALLY help me out.

Thanks!

Chris,

The CSS route was the solution.

I have another question about the slider. I was trying to get the slider to be closer to the menu at and logo at the top and I tried playing with the values in some code I saw you offer to someone else in this thread here: http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/how-do-i-move-either-the-logo-or-the-menu#post-6661

It got the site to where I wanted it.. however when I play around with my browsers size the menu sometimes comes down to below the logo and breaks the page. Is there a way to stop this? Maybe a different line of CSS or something (I'm a newbie haha).

This shows what I mean: http://i57.tinypic.com/2057frq.jpg

Also, is there a way to have the posts on the calendar remove themselves at say midnight instead of at the start time?

Thank you for whatever guidance you can give me.

Hi there,

You can easily target mobile screen sizes via CSS. Targeting mobile devices specifically requires a bit more work and would require a customization request.

If you want to try the CSS route, open style.css and change the following on line 322 from this...

#slider {height: 93px;}

...to this...

#slider {display:none;}

Hope that helps.

Best,

No problem at all. I just have one last question in regards to the slider:

Is there a way to make the Slider not appear on the mobile version of the site but have it still appear on the desktop version? Just trying to keep the mobile view very simple.

Thanks,

Hi there,

I really appreciate the nice remarks ;-)

1. You'll want to adjust the CSS for ".sliderInfo" to something like this...

.sliderInfo {
    top: auto;
    bottom: 0;
}

2. You'll want to use the maxlength feature to control the title text that way. Open post-form.php and change the following on line 122 from this...

<input type="text" name="postFormTitle" id="postFormTitle" class="required" value="<?php if(isset($_POST['postTitle']) && $_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD'] != "POST"){ echo $_POST['postTitle']; } ?>" /><br />

...to this...

<input maxlength="30" type="text" name="postFormTitle" id="postFormTitle" class="required" value="<?php if(isset($_POST['postTitle']) && $_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD'] != "POST"){ echo $_POST['postTitle']; } ?>" /><br />

You can change maxlength="30" to a value you prefer.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Chris,

First off, I bought this theme a few days ago and I have to say I'm very very happy with it. It's the closest thing I could find to what I am looking for (there are oddly not many great event themes out there)and it looks like you put a lot of work into this theme as well as your other themes so I just wanted to say thanks for that.

I've been able to figure out most changes I wanted to make just by this forum and seeing responses to other peoples questions.. two things remain though.

My questions:

1.) I've found the CSS to input into the Custom CSS field to get the arrows and date to disappear on the slider.. However, could you tell me how I can move the text from left center to the bottom left? This way it will not block crucial information on my show posters.

2.) In the submission page, is there any way I can add a character limit to the "Event Title" field? I know I can get away with roughly 60 characters in that field, however people submitting probably don't and it will reduce some housekeeping on my part.

Thank you very much for the great theme, it was worth every penny.
