Sorry I should have been more clear, the menu has a fallback it will always show something unless removed in the code, open the footer.php and remove line 39 (also remove line 37 for removing the logo)

PS> Sorry I did not mean to say "check box". I meant dropdown. There is a dropdown there to select your footer nav, but it is currently blank. I always clear my cache and save as prompted but still can't get rid of the nasty footer menu.

Thanks C, but in the Appearance/Menus page my footer nav check box is not selected, yet the nav is still appearing at the bottom, centered and unformatted and super lame looking. I guess I don't mind the logo but the footer nav needs to go... (you can see it at the link above). Can you further advise?

The logo is hardcoded, and the navigation is set via WordPress's Menu( Appearance -> Menus) in the admin

never mind... I finally figured it out. You have to create a new post for every pic (that is create a "new post" -- NOT a "new page").

This still doesn't help me with the footer navigation. If anyone has advice on where to find this and eradicate it please let me know?

OH my effn GAWD!! I have been screwing with this thing for hours upon hours and I can't make the slider work! I need a really simple walk thru that gives me results. I just can't seem to get the three or four pics into the slider at all. Can someone help me out? The strings I found didn't do the trick!

Also I have the navigation repeated with my logo at the bottom of the site -- NO idea how it got there and NO idea how to get rid of it. Again, no help in the strings that worked for me.

Can anyone help me out?
