Nevermind, I figured out how to make the image file. Now it's all about finding the right font and stuff and I know it's not you all's job to teach me how to use image programs.

Now that I've got the logo on there, the theme looks just like I want it to, or at least it will when I get all the right backgrounds on there. Thanks for a great theme!

Yeah, so I know absolutely nothing about photoshop or gimpshop and it turns out that this amount of knowledge is insufficient to make a .png image of text with a transparent background. It seems so simple but after 3 hours, I'm still totally lost. How can we make this easier?

Is there anyway in this theme to just make the title of my page show up without creating an image? Is there a way to make this image easily?

I'm a writer; I'm kind of a newb at computer stuff. So, am I correct in thinking that if I want the title of my site to appear as "The Novelist" does in the demo in the top-left corner I need to make some sort of image file using the font I like?

If so, can someone please recommend how to do this? What size should the "logo" be and how can I get a lot of font choices and make some text into an image file with a "glass" background so that the words float over the background image of the page?
