I absolutely understand this. And I do everything to figure out, why it is not working. I disgussed this with my hosting provider a minute ago. The script is now disabled. Could you please continue with your investigation? I've recreated the same user and pass in the new site.

Unfortunately I'm not able to troubleshoot this until those extra scripts are removed. I'm only able to troubleshoot a default setup/installation of the theme. If I see extra stuff that might cause an issue, they'll have to be removed before I continue further.

Please understand that I'm unable to troubleshoot issues that may caused by plugins, extensions or customizations made to my themes. I simply don't have the resources to support and troubleshoot code/features that I didn't write and have no developer knowledge of.

Hope you understand. Again, please let me know if the issue persists after you're able to remove the extra scripts.

I have reinstalled the whole site from scratch, but it still doesn't work. There shouldn't be any custom scipts/coding now.

And why is the same stuff working woth another domain name?!

One more thing... I've installed the theme the same way (using the QuickInstall feature of HostGator) on jovokmegyek.com to try if it's working. And it is. But not with gabiontour.hu

Thank you Chris! I installed WP using HodtGator's QuickInstaller. Might that be the problem? Maybe they added some scripts to the WP installer? I'll try to remove the install and reinstall it without the QuickInstaller. I'll let you know. Thanks for your help.

I've been reviewing your source code and see there's some extra stuff in there. Specifically...

<script src='/google_analytics_auto.js'></script>

This is not part of the default theme. I deactivated ALL plugins and still this markup displays. I can't think of where else this would be coming from. Maybe your hosting provider would know?

Unfortunately this isn't something I can continue to troubleshoot as this isn't something theme-related.

Let me know if the issue persists after you're able to remove extra scripts and I'll be happy to continue reviewing this issue with you.

I've sent you the details. I kindly ask you to help me here as I spent a lot of time figuring out what's wrong, but I wasn't able to resolve the issue. I basically spent all the weekend on this... :(

The site is for a project that should go live on Wednesday. The tight timeframe to set up a homepage forced me to buy ready-to-go template, but it's not working, which is very-very frustrating. :(

One thing to try is to make a change on the Customize page (even if it's a temporary change) and click "save & publish".

Also, please be sure to provide a logo image for your site.

I had a 3 hours call with the hosting provider today. We went through everything and it seems that everything os working fine on their side. So the problem must be with the template.

I have reset everything:
- deactivated the theme
- removed the theme
- deinstalled Wordpress
- removed the domain from my hosting provider (HostGator)
- deleted the folder for the domain.

And then
- added the domain as a new domain at the provider (the folder was automatically re-created)
- installed WP
- installed the theme
- uploaded the demo content

but it's still the same.

It even fails at the preview at customizing. Please see the screenshot:
