Hi there,

Try adding the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

#director-s-statement .pageContent {
    padding-left: 80px;
}

Hi

1. I actually can live with the resizing.

2. What I would like is text left aligned but not left justified; but my preference would be not exactly centered either so my question: Is padding on the left possible to push text right?

Hi there,

1. The resizing is done automatically via CSS, so you'll need to make adjustments to the actual image if you want it to appear a specific way on specific screen sizes. That's not something the theme determines or can control.

2. I guess I'm not sure I understand what you expect the text to do when you have it that far over to the left. Are you thinking the text will move? The menu is fixed to the page via CSS, so there's no real way for the layout to "know" where the menu is and adjust the content accordingly. Does that make sense?

Best,

Chris

Hi

The url: http://www.lifeneverbegins.com/
Page: Director's Statement

I made the text 'real' and am still having problems with both 1) the pic not resizing accurately and 2) the text appearing scrunched under the menu.

2 could be solved if I knew how to put a little padding to the left.

Hi there,

The issue is mainly due to the fact that the text is part of the image. There's really no way for the theme styles to control this as the text isn't "real" text that can be manipulated. The image position/size is based on the browser size, not the location/size of the text. As a result, the CSS will determine how best to display the image itself, over the look of the text (as it can not be detected).

My best suggestion is to make sure all your text is "real". This way you can be sure the theme style will make sure your text is properly positioned at all times.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi

Sorry. The url: http://www.lifeneverbegins.com/

Btw, in general am very happy with the way things look and work.

Also the home page (The Film) also gets cut off on the right when my bookmarks panel is open.

Hi
My pages use liquid width as the template. Still, when my browser's (Firefox) bookmark's panel is open the sides get cut off and the text on one page (Director's Statement) gets scrunched up against and under the menu.

2 people have told me that same page is cut off at the bottom on their computers.

Anything I can do about that?

regards
